Gabriel was captain of the lacrosse team at Bucknell University and a business major and then
in his junior year he auditioned for his first play ever and got the lead. His life changed forever.
Gabriel is from Brentwood, Long Island and was content being an exceptional scholar-athlete but
nothing ever made him feel so alive the way acting did. After Bucknell he went to Columbia University
where he received his MFA in Acting and became a founding member of Magis Theatre Company.
Gabriel is extremely excited that after four years of work-shops since 2010, he had the World Premiere of
his one man show THE RIME at Theatre Row in NYC in September 2014. As a result of that production, THE RIME was selected
for the 2015 Virginia Arts Festival. THE RIME's team is thrilled to be participating in The Virginia Arts Festival along with world-renowned
artists such as Jazz legend Wynton Marsalis, opera star Renee Fleming and internationally acclaimed dance group Pilobolus.
